Total Insanity, and I couldn't be happier.

A big ball of off-the-wall, illogical, completely random crap. And I FUCKING LOVE IT!!!

Every bit had me laughing, from a snicker to a chuckle to LOL to falling out of my chair in joy. No, seriously, it hurt. (*sniff* the cold, hard tile is so unforgiving.)

In short: this entry hit my favorites list before the halfway mark.

A Sprite-based Ballet

This review applies to the series as a whole:

Overall/Story: One of the best flashes I've EVER seen. The story you've crafted is epic and dramatic. Rather than play to low-brow humor and violence, you've instead chosen a very serious, sad, heartfelt approach to Flashmaking; with jaw-dropping results. I applaud you.

Sound/Music: Your use of the original videogame sounds in such a dramatic environment seems like an odd choice, but the tragic tone somehow changes those sounds to fit; quirky though they may be. I'm not sure how, but it works.

The real star in this flash is the music. The soundtrack you've chosen drives home the emotional impact so well, I fear what would be without it. Music is so important to a piece like this, you've demonstrated a superb understanding of it.

Graphics: When restricted to the NES's 8-bit sprites, you've managed to use it as a simple visual style that adds so much character. Simple yet expressive, like the masks of Greek theatre. Excellent job.

This one is a classic

This is a wonderful game. It's simple, yet challenging. Not particularly deep, but still takes a little strategy. Skyemaster definately understands what old-school games were all about. Expect a lot of good things from this guy!

Dear God!! It's raining people!!

I really enjoyed this game. It's simple yet fun, like the old DOS game Night Raid.
Anyway, It was good, but it got repetitive. (You can only toss puny humans around for so long...)How about more points for higher throws? May I suggest a little more from the enemies? Say, reactions when they see a friend of theirs crash to the ground, have them be crushed when others land on them. Or in later levels they bring canons, and you have to destroy them by dropping people on them...

Bottom Line: Well animated sticks, though their actions are limited. Spice it up a bit, and you've got a real winner here!

(P.S. sorry for the length, I just really enjoy/was inspired by this game.)

If you want to discuss anything at all, drop me a line. I'd be happy to hear from you.
